NEEDS ASSESSMENT: OCSS in total disrepair. No longer fit to be a WAEC exam center
VISION STATEMENT: To see Ohuhu Community Secondary School (Formally Ohuhu Community Grammar School), our root and our pride, re-emerge as the leader amongst the Secondary Schools in Abia State by 2030, through the support of all alumni, all current students and Ohuhu community leaders.
MISSION STATEMENT: To rebuild Ohuhu Community Secondary School ( Formally Ohuhu Community Grammar School) to her original glory through mutual and beneficial relationship amongst the alumni, the school and current students, by strengthening the bond of fellowship and solidarity for the development and continuous progress of our Alma Mater in her services to humanity.

OUR RESOURCE BASE: All old boys and girls who started at or graduated from OCSS Amaogwugwu Umuahia, Abia Statea; all current students of OCSS; all Ohuhu community leaders and their autonomous communities; Umuahia North LGA, Abia State Government; Federal Government of Nigeria; International Funding Agencies
OUR STRUCTURE: International general membership, meeting virtually every month; International Board of Directors, comprising class representatives from all graduated classes at OCSS, meeting every quarter, International Executive Board, comprising the president, executive VP, national VPs/Chapter presidents, secretary, financial secretary, treasurer, public relations officer and the International project director. meeting continually on WhatsApp EXCO page; Board of Trustees comprising three appointed senior active and supportive members; Special Committees for special events including reunion, fundraising and community service, each having its own self-select committee members.
OUR GOALS: a} To secure the entire OCSS campus with a perimeter wall by the end of 2024, b) To install an imposing gate at the front entrance with our alma mater's name and and logo fully displayed. c) To create motorable internal roads to all parts of the campus: To renovate all the dilapidated buildings and erect new ones by the end of 2026 d) To renovate the football field for soccer and track/field events by the end of 2024 and add a stadium for school and community social events like graduations, traditional festivals, etc.
OBJECTIVES: a) To plan and execute the celebration of the 60th anniversary of OCSS to kick off our fundraising of NGN 70 m by January 4, 2023, b) To increase OCSSGAA membership by amalgamating all splinter OCSS groups under OCSSGAA for a larger pool of membership and fees and voluntary donations ranging up NGN 50 m by the end of 2023 , c) To secure a federal matching grant of up to NGN 25 m from the federal NNDC program by the end of 2023, d) To pool and spend our funds from an international General account, a national account for each chapter and a project impress account for project implementation by the end of 2023, e) To create and adopt a constitution and bylaws for OCSSGAA by the end of 2023, f) To create a website and WhatsApp platform for communicating with our members and the general public. g)To complete corporate registration for OCSSGAA at the international HQ in USA and each current national chapter location, namely Nigeria, USA, and UK by the end of 2023, h) To inaugurate a board of class representatives to direct the affairs of OCCSS by the end of 2023, i) To hold our first AGM by mid December 2023, j) To hold our first old students' reunion by July/August 2023, and k) To secure an international grant with the help of a grant writer by the end of 2024
OUR BUDGET: Has been developed to accommodate all our goals and objectives
OUR ACTION PLANS: Have been put in place at EXCO and committe levels
OUR DATA COLLECTION is ongoing and will be used to track and modify our goals and objectives
PUBLICATION & REPORTING OF OUR ACTIVITIES: will be made public here on our website and directly reported to governmental agencies in the countries where we have chapters.
